Martha’s father leads her to Christ when she is ten. Like him, she learns to take a stand for her faith and commits to being a missionary as a teenager. She travels as a soloist with an evangelist, then goes to Wheaton College where she meets Don, a pastor. They marry and go to Japan as missionaries in 1952 with their two sons. In spite of much illness, they stay and Don helps found a Christian Bible College. After 22 years they go to Lausanne to help with world evangelism. Their faith never falters even when their oldest son is killed in a plane crash. Still serving the Lord in retirement.
