Alex grows up with alcohol and lives to get drunk in high school. He drops out to join the Navy where he learns to box and gets into numerous brawls. Drunk, he drives through a bridge railing into a muddy inlet but survives. He takes “the pledge”, moves around but can’t quit drinking even after he marries Eileen. She leaves him and he is so drunk he hears voices. A.A. helps him get sober and he goes to church where he hears the gospel and receives Christ. They move to Idaho & Montana where he teaches the Bible. Now in ministry in Florida.
