Chuck grows us with an alcoholic dad and learns to fight. He joins the Marines and marries Lenora two months after they meet. She is horrified by his drinking and fighting. He becomes an officer, trains in counterintelligence and goes to Vietnam. In Hue he survives the Tet Offensive, escaping several traps for eight days. Finally he is rescued. Back home he debriefs POWs when the war ends and their horror stories break him. Lenora has received Christ and prays for him as he weeps for days. She leads him to Christ and Chuck declares his salvation in church. He retires from the Marine Corps and becomes a preacher. Now in evangelism.
