Bette drops heroin for Meth and her life becomes even more degrading. She’s arrested for burglary and her father refuses to bail her out or get an attorney. Faced with prison, she goes into hiding with a friend whose husband finds them. He sends Bette home on a bus and she decides to turn herself in. In jail she experiences the Lord and is born again. She goes to Bible study and worship and when she’s released on probation, she keeps going to church and helps with ministry to the homeless. Her faith helps her through drug recovery. She meets Kevin and they marry. Now in prison ministry.
