During Bible college, Art is called to the mission field. He falls in love with Florence, on her way to China as a missionary and reluctant to commit to Art. China’s civil war forces Florence to Japan where Art also goes. He continues his courtship, but the two misfire, and he gives up in frustration. Then they are reconciled and marry. He and five other missionaries launch PBA after some difficulties.
