Almaz is raised in a prosperous Ethiopian family. From her mother she learns to help others, sacrificing time and money for the poor. The country falls to Communism, and Almaz pursues a career in medicine by going to Russia to study. She hates communism, prays for God’s guidance. Jacob writes her from Sweden, proposing marriage. She asks for a sign: to get her lost passport, which God does; so she meets Jacob in Athens and they marry. Their life is dedicated to sharing the gospel in various countries.
