His father is imprisoned for embezzlement when Wesley is twelve, embittering Wesley and his mother. They lose home and live with relatives, who teach Wesley about God, Whom he rejects. Aunt sends him to Christian camp where he receives Christ. Mother is furious, won’t help him go to Bible school. As an evangelist, Wesley falls in love with Dorothy, who urges him to find his father, which he does. Wesley’s father receives Christ after hearing his son preach.
