Illness causes Jeff to be held back in school and he suffers ridicule. Then the grandfather he loves dies. Family moves to the South where his accents brings Jeff ridicule. As a teenager, he drinks, smokes pot, works for uncle. Parents kick him out for drunkenness and irresponsibility. A friend witness about Christ, and Jeff takes a job on power lines, working with believers. He goes to church and prays for salvation in his grandfather’s cornfield. Wife and he now missionaries in Bulgaria.
